Meet Joseph B. Pisano
I founded Pisano Law, PLLC because I wanted to offer the kind of legal help I would want my own family to have.
A lot of people do not have a lawyer they can simply call when something comes up. They may need a will, have questions after the death of a parent, want to transfer a piece of property, start a business, review a contract, or just figure out what they are supposed to do next. Those are exactly the kinds of calls I welcome.
My practice focuses on wills, trusts, estates, probate, deeds and property transfers, contracts, business formation and corporate transactions, and related matters. Much of this work involves important moments in a person's life, but that does not mean dealing with a lawyer should feel intimidating or overly formal.
I want my clients to feel comfortable calling, asking questions, and telling me what they are actually trying to accomplish. My job is to listen, explain the options in plain English, and make sure the legal side is handled carefully.
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania and have spent my career working in and around the legal system here. In addition to my private practice, I serve as an Assistant District Attorney. My background has also included private law practice, legal research, and work with the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing.
At Pisano Law, my goal is simple: to be the lawyer you would call if you had one in the family.

My work as a prosecutor has given me substantial experience with the court system, legal analysis, case preparation, and the practical application of Pennsylvania law. I gained practical experience in Western Pennsylvania law offices as a legal assistant, law clerk, and attorney. I began with McEwen Law Firm in Grove City and later worked with Charlton Law, where my responsibilities grew from legal assistant and law clerk to attorney after admission to the bar. Those positions gave me early, hands-on experience working with clients, attorneys, legal documents, and the everyday operation of a law practice.
